It was a happy Father's Day

For my Father's Day gift Alison made one my t-shirts into a dress for Ella. It was great. Very cute and Ells loved it. She made me a card in Parents' Day Out the other day and thanked me for tickling her. Oh man, I love that.

For the past two days I have done nothing, and I mean nothing. It's been awesome. I think I washed a couple dishes and took the garbage out once, that was it. After working so hard for so long it's just been awesome to get a little rest. Play-time with the girls and catching up with Alison have been nice things to not rush.

Two quick business-y things, though, before I go.

1. Has anyone noticed any distortion, of the unwanted variety, while listening to the EP? Somebody let me know they've had a little problem with it and I wanted to see if it's an isolated incident. I'm no mastering engineer, so it very well may be a mistake. If so, I'll get on it and fix it Monday.

2. The new Caedmon's Call album Overdressed was supposed to be made available for pre-order on on June 15. Unfortunately, that was not so. I'm not sure why, but I apologize for it. I'm trying to figure out what happened, and I'll let you know when we know what happened or when it's available.

All right, I'm going to get to bed and read a little more of McNamara's confessions about Vietnam, (which are both fascinating and very sad) to round out a restful weekend.
