New Year's Revolution

My goal this year is to play at least one rock and roll solo show in Nashville every month. January is under wraps and I have two, read 'em two, shows coming up in February. It's going to be an all-star band: Paul Eckberg, Chris Weigel, Matt Odmark and Jeff Pardo. Seriously. I'm jealous of myself when I look at that.

The shows will be:

February 1
3rd and Lindsley

February 8

I'm still not totally sure of the other artist lineups for either, but I'll let you know when I find out.

Now, I know that most of you don't live within distance of these so I have an idea. (I've also got a slew of shows in the works all over the place starting in March, but that's for a later post.) I wanted to see if there were any video capable people who might be able to come to either of these shows and tape them so we could put at least pieces of them up for all to see.

I'm about maxed out with my current understanding of web technology (webnology?) but if anyone knows how to make videos into podcasts or some other easily distributable form, I'd be grateful for your help.

I'm off to Randall's house now to go and finish up a bunch more songs for the Caedmon's record. We start recording sooner than I can believe, and we keep coming up with new song ideas so fast that we can't finish the older ones. It's a good problem to have, but we're carving away at them now. I can't wait for you guys to hear this stuff. I think this is going to be a great one.

Thanks again to everybody who's taken the time to fill out the surveys. It's really great to get a little glimpse into the lives of the folks who regularly get a glimpse of mine. I am so thankful we get to be a part of this thing together. Happy Tuesday.
